Smokey’s Fillin’ Station opened its doors at 4183b Newland Hwy. in Linville back in December of 2023. The new eating establishment quickly grabbed the attention of locals and tourists through social media and rapidly by word of mouth.The new restaurant offers a select menu from delicious burgers and fries, to a bologna sandwich and onion rings. Smokey’s also offers other great items such as soups, salads, flatbread pizzas, and an array of hand-crafted sandwiches.

Smokey’s is owned and operated by Jimmy Hughes and Michelle Scott. The Hughes family has quite the history in Linville, as other family members own and operate the Tartan Restaurant and Pixie Inn, both located across the street from Smokey’s, and also has ties to the old Faye Hughes Store, which many locals remember from days gone by.
